Dynamic, field-focused Business Development Manager required to drive B2B growth across fire protection, manufacturing, electronics-electrical equipment, automobile, and related sectors. The role demands proven on-ground sales capability, strong relationship building, and consistent achievement of sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Field sales:
Actively visit prospective clients, conduct site calls, and build lasting relationships.
Lead generation:
Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, client visits, and networking.
Solution selling:
Understand customer requirements and propose tailored solutions.
Proposal and negotiation:
Prepare and present commercial proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals.
Account management:
Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients for upsell and cross-sell.
Targets and reporting:
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and report daily field activities, leads, and sales updates to management.
Cross-functional coordination:
Work with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Experience:
2 to 5 years of proven field sales or business development experience in B2B environments.
Education:
Graduate or MBA; bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
Skills:
Strong communication; negotiation; relationship management; ability to work independently in the field.
Other:
Comfortable with regular travel within Pune; experience in fire protection or related industries preferred.
