We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand our presence in the market. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales and marketing strategies, a proven ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, and a successful track record of managing relationships with corporate clients. Experience within the travel or aviation industry is a significant plus. This role will be instrumental in developing and executing strategies to acquire new clients, build lasting partnerships, and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Sales & Marketing:
Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to achieve business development targets and expand market share.
Opportunity Identification:
Proactively identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including potential clients, partnerships, and market segments.
Corporate Client Acquisition:
Target and acquire new corporate clients through strategic outreach, networking, and compelling value propositions.
Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key corporate clients, ensuring their satisfaction and identifying opportunities for growth.
Pipeline Management:
Manage a robust sales pipeline, tracking progress and ensuring timely follow-up on leads and opportunities.
Proposal Development:
Develop and deliver persuasive presentations, proposals, and quotations tailored to the specific needs of potential clients.
Market Analysis:
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify potential opportunities and challenges.
Collaboration:
Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
Reporting & Forecasting:
Prepare regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market insights. Provide accurate sales forecasts.
Networking:
Actively participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build relationships and generate leads.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
Proven track record of progressive experience in business development, sales, and marketing.
Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing successful sales and marketing strategies that have driven tangible results.
Strong ability to identify and evaluate new business opportunities and market trends.
Significant experience in engaging with and acquiring corporate clients.
Excellent skills in building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Strong business acumen and a results-oriented mindset.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience within the travel or aviation industry is a significant plus.
Willingness to travel as required.
