Job Brief
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented
Regional Sales & Business Development Manager
with a strong background in infrastructure/road safety projects and government sales. The candidate will play a key role in driving sales growth, building and managing distributor networks, and strengthening relationships with government authorities and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Execution
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed regional sales targets.
Monitor performance and make data-driven adjustments to maximize results.
2. Government Liaison
Build and maintain strong relationships with government departments, agencies, and decision-makers (NHAI, PWD, etc.).
Stay updated on government policies, projects, and regulations related to road safety and infrastructure.
Influence government projects and specifications for both standard and value-added products.
3. Channel & Network Management
Identify, recruit, and manage distributors, dealers, and retailers to ensure complete market coverage.
Provide training and support to distributors to strengthen their sales capabilities.
Expand the sales network into untapped markets and onboard new channel partners.
Identify, train, and manage applicators to ensure quality execution of projects.
4. Market Analysis
Conduct regular market research to identify opportunities, threats, and trends.
Share insights with leadership to support strategic decision-making.
5. Team Management
Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals to achieve sales goals.
Conduct performance reviews, set targets, and provide coaching.
6. Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
Use CRM tools to manage customer interactions, sales pipelines, and track activities.
7. Reporting
Prepare reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market trends for management review.
Requirements
Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / Science Graduate (MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred).
Proven experience in government sales, government relations, public relations, project management, B2B & B2C.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams.
Ability to build sales strategies, distributor networks, and manage channels.
Willingness to travel extensively within the designated zone (Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi).

Pay: ₹14,887.24 - ₹32,742.50 per month
