Goodlands is a rapidly growing sports startup specializing in pickleball products and court construction services. Featured on Shark Tank India Season 4, We are seeking a results-driven Sales & Business Development Manager to expand our market presence, drive revenue growth, and build long-term client relationships.

Job Summary:

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, building strategic relationships, and expanding Goodlands' presence in the sports and recreation sector. The ideal candidate should be an MBA graduate with strong communication, analytical, and negotiation skills -- someone who can think strategically and execute effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and develop new business opportunities in the sports, hospitality, and institutional sectors

Build strong relationships with sports clubs, schools, gyms, builders, and corporate partners

Pitch and promote Goodlands' pickleball courts, products, and franchise models

Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets

Coordinate with marketing and operations teams to deliver customized client solutions

Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends

Manage end-to-end business development cycle -- from lead generation to closure

Represent the brand in exhibitions, tournaments, and business networking events

Maintain accurate sales pipelines and prepare regular performance reports

Ensure client satisfaction through effective communication and follow-ups


Requirements :

MBA in Marketing, Sales, or Business Management (mandatory)

1-4 years of experience in Business Development, preferably in sports, hospitality, or lifestyle industries

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

Strong business acumen and relationship-building ability

Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools

Passion for sports or fitness industry is a plus
