Commercial Salesperson for North and East India
to manage its growing production and assembly operations in north and east India and will be sitting Kanpur office branch. The person will spearhead our growth initiatives across key sectors such as automation, robotics, renewable energy, and medical equipment. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, sales acumen, and a client-focused mindset to drive business expansion and deepen market penetration.
This position requires a self-motivated individual with strong communication skills and the ability to engage with decision-makers, develop strategic partnerships, and close complex sales deals. The role involves extensive travel within India and occasional international visits.

Key Responsibilities
To assist the organisation's sales and growth by identifying new business opportunities
Identify emerging markets, segments, product combinations
Provide ideas to attract new clients and keep the management updated about market and competitor activities
Designing and implementing in consultation with the Country Head, a strategic sales plan that expands company's customer base and ensure its strong presence;
Build contacts with potential clients to create new business opportunities
Make cold calls for new business opportunities
Keep prospective customer database updated
Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs;
Assesses risks and makes recommendations based on a thorough analysis of all factors involved in a business situation;
Works efficiently and calmly tight deadlines or other stress factors arise;
To perform any other task as and when assigned by the country head
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Achievement of quarterly and annual revenue targets
Number of new customer accounts acquired
Customer retention and satisfaction scores
Win/loss ratio on submitted proposals
Market expansion in untapped regions or sectors

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BE Electrical) - Mandatory
MBA in Sales or Marketing - Mandatory
4-7 years of proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in automation, robotics, or industrial electrical components
Strong understanding of technical sales processes and customer lifecycle management
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Familiarity with or working knowledge of CRM platforms will be an added advantage
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Willingness to travel extensively across India and occasionally overseas
