The Business Development Manager (BDM) will lead and manage the sales team at Decorate Blinds, drive business growth, and ensure consistent revenue generation. This role involves developing business strategies, acquiring premium clients, building strong partnerships with interior designers and contractors, and personally handling key accounts. The BDM will be responsible for setting sales targets, supervising the team, and ensuring smooth execution of the sales process.
Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Market Development
Identify, approach, and onboard interior designers, contractors, architects, and premium-class retailers as long-term partners.
Handle acquisition of key accounts for large projects and premium clients.
Build a strong professional network within the interior design and construction industry.
Represent Decorate Blinds at industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows.
Team Management & Sales Oversight
Set clear monthly acquisition targets for Business Development Executives (BDEs).
Guide, mentor, and monitor BDEs to ensure effective client acquisition.
Ensure a structured sales process is followed from lead generation to order closure.
Quotation & Pricing Supervision
Review and approve quotations, proposals, and pricing submitted by BDEs.
Verify client onboarding status based on incentive eligibility (3 orders + ?50,000 rule).
Key Account Handling
Maintain strong relationships with premium clients and high-volume buyers.
Resolve escalations and ensure client satisfaction for critical accounts.
Reporting & Review
Submit weekly and monthly sales performance reports to the Managing Director.
Track team performance, sales pipeline progress, and incentive disbursement.
