Job Summary

We're seeking a

Business Development Manager

to drive our rooftop solar power plant business. This role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of the rooftop market, strong technical acumen, and a proven track record of acquiring new projects and fostering key client relationships. You'll be instrumental in identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and achieving sales targets for our rooftop solar solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Market Growth:

Identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes to develop and execute strategies for market share growth in rooftop solar.

Client Acquisition:

Generate leads, qualify opportunities, and pursue new rooftop solar projects from concept to close, building a robust pipeline.

Relationship Building:

Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders including developers, EPCs, channel partners, and end-clients.

Proposal & Negotiation:

Collaborate with internal teams to prepare compelling proposals and lead negotiations to secure profitable contracts.

Sales Targets:

Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets for rooftop solar projects, reporting regularly on performance.

Industry Expertise:

Stay updated on industry trends, policies, and regulations to ensure compliant and effective business development.

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy) or Business. MBA is a plus.

5-7 years of experience in business development/sales specifically within the rooftop solar power plant sector.

Proven track record of successfully acquiring and closing rooftop solar projects (C&I, residential, institutional). In-depth knowledge of the rooftop solar ecosystem, including market dynamics, technologies, and financing models. Strong understanding of solar PV system components and technical specifications. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Willingness to travel extensively.

Pay: ?50,000.00 - ?850,000.00 per month
