The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities,driving sales growth, and building strong client relationships within the jewellery industry. The roleinvolves strategic planning, market expansion, and partnership development to increase revenue and brand presence.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve sales and revenue targets.
Identify new markets, potential clients, and business opportunities (B2B / retail / export).
Build and maintain long- term relationships with key clients, wholesalers, retailers, anddistributors.
Negotiate and close high - value deals and partnerships.
Analyze marke t trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform strategy.
Collaborate with design, marketing, and production teams to align business goals with product offerings.
Represent the brand at trade shows, exhibitions, and business networking events.
Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and business plans tomanagement.
Ensure customer satisfaction and provide post - sales support.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
Minimum 4- 6 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the jewellery or luxury industry.
Strong network within the jewellery market (domestic and/or international).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and prese ntation skills.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of jewellery manufacturing and market trends.
Familiarity with B2B and retail business models.
Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office.
Willingness to travel as required.
