About the Role:


We are seeking an experienced and proactive Business Development Manager to spearhead our sales and client acquisition initiatives in Mumbai's thriving technology services sector. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding our IT services footprint by acquiring new business, nurturing client relationships, and contributing to revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:



Business Development & Client Acquisition



Identify potential business opportunities within domestic and international IT markets, with a focus on Mumbai's enterprise and SME sectors. Build and maintain a qualified lead pipeline through market research, client referrals, networking events, and prospecting platforms. Conduct in-depth competitor and market analysis to discover emerging opportunities in the Mumbai IT services landscape.

Sales Strategy & Revenue Generation



Formulate and implement regional sales plans tailored to the Mumbai market to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets. Deliver client-specific proposals, presentations, and solution demonstrations. Manage contract negotiations, pricing structures, and agreement terms in alignment with Mumbai-based clients' requirements.

Client Relationship Management



Foster strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients across Mumbai and surrounding regions. Actively engage with key decision-makers and IT heads to understand their operational challenges and future technology needs. Ensure client satisfaction through regular follow-ups and personalized service delivery.

Internal Collaboration



Work alongside technical specialists, solution architects, and delivery teams to co-create customized IT service proposals. Share client and market insights from the Mumbai territory to help shape future service offerings and marketing campaigns.

Reporting & Pipeline Management



Maintain comprehensive records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status in the company's CRM. Prepare sales forecasts, client feedback summaries, and business reports for leadership, focusing on Mumbai-specific growth trends.

Key Skills & Qualifications:



Sales & Business Skills:



Minimum 5 years of proven business development experience in IT services or software sales. Solid understanding of IT services including cloud, SaaS, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and ERP/CRM solutions. Excellent networking, lead generation, and negotiation capabilities, preferably with experience in the Mumbai corporate market.

Interpersonal & Communication Abilities:



Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with C-level executives and senior IT leaders.

Planning & Analytical Skills:



Strong organizational and reporting abilities. Proficient in interpreting market data and business trends for actionable business planning.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, IT, or related fields. Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho is desirable.
