Job Summary
Sentius Technologies is seeking a
dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager
with proven experience in acquiring large-scale IT projects in
IoT, Artificial Intelligence, and Software Development
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and closing new business opportunities, driving expansion into emerging markets, building strategic partnerships, and contributing to revenue growth through innovative technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Business Acquisition:
Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities across
IoT, AI/ML, SaaS, DevOps, Cloud, and Software Development
domains through strategic prospecting, networking, and client engagement.
Client Engagement:
Build, nurture, and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring deep understanding of their technology challenges and providing tailored digital transformation solutions.
Proposal Management:
Lead the preparation of
RFPs, RFQs, and SoWs
, collaborating with pre-sales, solution architects, and technical experts to deliver competitive and client-focused proposals.
Market Expansion:
Explore and penetrate new markets, industry verticals, and geographic regions to diversify the company's business portfolio and expand its footprint.
Strategic Partnerships:
Develop alliances with technology vendors, partners, and key stakeholders to enhance solution offerings and create joint go-to-market strategies.
Collaboration with Technical Teams:
Work closely with engineering, product, and delivery teams to conceptualize and pitch
Proof of Concepts (POCs)
, prototypes, and innovative software solutions.
Revenue Growth:
Develop and execute business plans to achieve sales targets, increase client retention, and maximize profitability.
Market Intelligence:
Conduct detailed research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and industry shifts in the IoT, AI, and enterprise software space.
Brand Representation:
Represent Chipmonk Technologies at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to strengthen brand visibility and thought leadership.
Sales Forecasting & Reporting:
Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, track performance metrics, and provide regular reports for management decision-making.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum
5+ years
of experience in
IT Sales or Business Development
, including
3+ years
in
IoT, AI, or software solutions
.
Proven track record of
closing high-value projects (?30-50 Lakhs+)
and managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
Strong industry network with access to key decision-makers in enterprise and technology sectors.
Deep understanding of
IoT platforms, edge devices, AI/ML solutions, software systems, data analytics, and cloud infrastructure.
Experience in selling
custom software solutions, POCs, and enterprise integrations.
Excellent
communication, presentation, and negotiation
skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a
target-driven, high-performance environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration
, or a related field.
Strong understanding of
