Job Overview:



We are looking for a proactive and experienced

Business Development Manager - Industrial Sales

to drive growth in the

Confectionery Division

, with a strong focus on

B2B sales in the chemicals industry

. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of food-grade chemicals, flavors, additives, and ingredients used in confectionery manufacturing, as well as a robust network within the food and chemical industries.

Key Responsibilities:



Market Expansion & Lead Generation

Identify and pursue new B2B opportunities in the confectionery manufacturing sector. Develop strategic plans to expand market share across food ingredients, sweeteners, emulsifiers, and specialty chemicals.

Customer Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at confectionery manufacturers, food processing companies, and ingredient suppliers. Act as a trusted advisor and liaison between clients and internal teams.

Sales Execution

Prepare and deliver technical proposals, pricing strategies, and customized product solutions. Lead contract negotiations and close deals in alignment with company policies and profitability goals.

Industry & Market Intelligence

Monitor trends in confectionery innovations, food safety regulations, and chemical ingredient demands. Provide competitive analysis and contribute to new product development initiatives.

Cross-functional Collaboration

Collaborate with R&D, technical, and supply chain teams to ensure product compatibility and timely delivery. Coordinate with marketing to develop promotional strategies for target markets.

Qualifications & Requirements:



Bachelor's degree in

Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration

, or a related field. MBA is preferred.

5+ years of experience

in industrial B2B sales, preferably within the

food ingredients, flavor chemicals, or confectionery sectors

. Strong technical knowledge of confectionery production and food-grade chemical applications. Proven track record in sales target achievement and client development. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Preferred Skills:



Experience selling to large confectionery manufacturers or food ingredient distributors.

Pay: ?35,000.00 - ?70,000.00 per year
