About the Role:
We are looking for a Business Development Manager who would work with contractors & builders to open a credit line for construction material purchase.
Requirements:
Local language is mandatory along with English
Experience range - Starting from 1+ years to 5-6 years max
Interview rounds - 1st round Hiring Manager; 2nd round - Credit Head (not mandatory)
Mode of working - 6 days and WFO
Notice Period - 30 days
Target industries - Banks and NBFC
Key Responsibilities:
Take ownership of the entire sales process, from lead generation to credit line opening
Role would involve calling customers consistently and making visits to their offices
Figuring out the right POC & pitching the right financial product as per their need
Engage clients through compelling storytelling, showcasing the value and benefits of our credit facility to purchase construction materials
Collection of documents needed for risk assessment & working alongside with internal & external lending partners to get the case approved
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Experience in collecting documents like P&L, Bank Statements, KYC documents & others
Strong sales & communication skills
Basic understanding of credit underwriting & risk management
Ability to operate in a high-growth, fast-paced environment with a zero-to-one mindset.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work with contractors & builders
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
