About the Role: Business Development Manager

We are seeking a

proactive and results-driven BDM

to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be a primary driver of new business, focusing on the initial stages of the sales cycle from lead generation to securing meetings and gathering detailed client requirements. This role requires exceptional communication skills, persistence, and a high degree of organizational capability to manage and report on the sales pipeline effectively.

Key Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for the following core activities:

Lead Generation & Prospecting:



Conduct

cold calls

to potential leads to generate new business opportunities.

Perform

data mining and research

to identify and qualify target prospects across relevant industries.

Client Communication & Engagement:



Initiate and maintain professional communication with potential clients using various channels, including

calls, emails, and LinkedIn

.

Successfully

schedule and organize meetings

with the concerned authorities or decision-makers.

Requirement Gathering:



Understand and document client requirements

by taking clear, accurate, and detailed briefs during meetings.

Prepare and maintain

weekly performance reports

detailing calls made, leads generated, meetings scheduled, and current pipeline status.

Maintain

accurate and up-to-date data

in Google Sheets and/or relevant CRM tools.

Internal Coordination:



Coordinate with the internal team

to ensure timely follow-ups on leads and accurate conversion tracking.

Must-Have Qualifications and Skills



Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience:

1-3 years of experience in

sales, lead generation, or business development

(preferably in a B2B environment).

Communication:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

(both verbal and written).

Technical Aptitude:



Strong research and data mining abilities

using online tools and databases.

Proficiency in

MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

and experience with

CRM tools

.

Mindset:



Ability to handle rejection

and maintain

persistence with a positive, can-do attitude

.

Good organizational and reporting skills

with meticulous

attention to detail

.
