Hotel Vivek is seeking a dynamic and results-driven
Business Development Manager
to lead our revenue growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will focus on expanding our client base, building strong corporate and event partnerships, and maximizing occupancy and banquet revenues. This position is perfect for a passionate hospitality professional with strong networking skills and a proven record in driving hotel sales success.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to promote rooms, events, conferences, weddings, and group bookings.
Build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and event organizers.
Achieve and surpass monthly and annual sales targets across all business segments.
Identify emerging market trends and new business opportunities to expand revenue streams.
Collaborate with operations, marketing, and front office teams to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Prepare and present detailed sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates to management.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of proven experience in hotel or resort sales (mandatory).
Established professional network within the hospitality and travel sectors.
Demonstrated ability to achieve consistent sales growth and revenue targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
In-depth understanding of the Coonoor-Ooty hospitality market and regional tourism trends.
