The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the Corporate Events, Government Events, luxury events industry sales and a proven track record in high-ticket client acquisition.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Client Acquisition:
Identify, approach, and convert high-net-worth individuals, families, government and corporate clients into long-term customers. Maintain a log of leads and follow up with clients.
Relationship Management:
Build and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders such as venues, luxury brands, influencers, wedding vendors, and planners to generate consistent referrals.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
Develop and execute tailored business development strategies to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
Networking & Representation:
Represent Elite Weddings at luxury events, expos, trade shows, and networking platforms to promote brand awareness.
Partnership Development:
Establish strategic partnerships with luxury service providers, hospitality groups, and influencers to enhance offerings and reach.
Market Research & Intelligence:
Analyse industry trends, competitor activities, and client preferences to inform decision-making and spot new opportunities.
Decor Designing & Operations:
Conceptualising and designing decor setup and being part of the team during execution on site.
Client Onboarding:
Work closely with internal planning and creative teams to ensure seamless onboarding and project handover after acquisition.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience (5+ years) in business development or sales, preferably in corporate events, Government, luxury weddings, hospitality, 5 star hotels, or high-end services.
Strong network within the events industry is a plus.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to understand and cater to the unique tastes and preferences of luxury clients.
Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours when required.
