For us, nobody is perfect, but a team can be. #TeamInnomotics. About the role and team Siemens Mobile Mining (Discontinuous Mining) serves the mining and construction industries. Our current portfolio comprises electrical drive systems for dump trucks, excavators, and loaders. We create sustainable value for our customers based on proven, reliable technology \xe2\x80\x93 know-how that has been compiled in more than 100 years of Siemens Mining experience. You will be mainly responsible for Profit and Loss of Mobile Mining Segment of India. Wherein you will be responsible for Sales and Business Development for New Products and Lead Service team for Existing products. You will be reporting to India Management and USA MM Head for your business activities. You will need to Coordinate with SMO Germany Team and MM USA Team for procurement activities. Additionally as Head of Mobile Mining India you will also mainly focusing on converting / conventional Diesel-Hydraulic Mining Machines to Electric-Hydraulic Mining Machines. Additionally, our focus is on Conversion and Modernization of Old Draglines and Electric Rope Shovels. Areas of Responsibility

  • Defines and ensures implementation of sales strategy, policies and guidelines, for Discontinuous Mining India. In line with Global Mobile Mining strategy and Local Innomotics Strategies.
  • Sets and monitors sales targets in line with HQ targets.
  • Ensures accomplishment of strategic market research and key customer surveys to identify respective strategic business opportunities.
  • Defines key markets and supports definition and identification of key customers in the assigned area of responsibility.
  • Drives and monitors key market development programs.
  • Bringing your own ideas and visions.
  • Develop relationships with customers, finding new ones and new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other units in Siemens Limited India (Digital Industries, Mobility, Smart Infrastructures) and Innomotics Service HQ.
  • Planning sales and marketing activities to achieve business targets.
  • Support HQ with market research, competitor analysis, and business forecasting.
  • Empower talented managers and deputys in their assigned areas to drive growth and excellence
Experience and Skills
  • Marketing and/or Sales in product business (3-5 years), preferably in a leading position
  • Communication and cooperation with senior management and peers in other organizations (5-8 years)
  • Contract mgmt. & Negotiation (2-3 years)
  • Work experience in an international, multi-cultural environment
  • Market knowledge in Mining
  • Networking skills
  • Potential for growth and personal development
  • Great communication and presentation skills
  • Proven experience in a leadership role
  • Professional sales skills and ability to analyze market potential
Education and Experiance
  • You should have B.E/B-Tech or M.E/M-Tech in Electrical or Electronics.
  • Degree / Certification in business administration / Sales would be preferred.
  • 10 - 15 years of total experience.
