Position Overview
The
Business Development Manager (BDM)
will be the
face of KES Security in Zirakpur
-- responsible for converting leads into sales, building strategic relationships with Architects, PMCs, Electrical Consultants, Builders, Developers, and key decision-makers, and executing
Account-Based Marketing (ABM)
strategies to open new revenue channels.
This role demands a proactive individual who thrives in client meetings, drives closures, and owns the entire business cycle -- from lead generation to handover.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Conversion & Sales Closure
Take ownership of inbound and outbound leads and
convert them into confirmed orders.
Conduct
site visits, client meetings, and solution presentations
to understand client requirements and provide customized proposals.
Collaborate with the technical and design teams to ensure proposals meet project specifications.
Negotiate pricing and close deals while ensuring
healthy profit margins.
2. Strategic Networking & Relationship Building
Meet and establish long-term relationships with:
Architects
for residential & commercial projects
PMCs
(Project Management Consultants) for institutional & industrial projects
Electrical & MEP Consultants
for integration-based opportunities
Builders, Developers, and Facility Managers
for ongoing projects
Maintain a strong network to ensure KES is listed as a
preferred vendor/installer.
3. Account-Based Marketing (ABM)
Identify high-value clients and
map key decision-makers
for targeted engagement.
Develop personalized marketing and follow-up strategies to convert specific accounts.
4. Market Research & Competitor Mapping
Keep track of
upcoming projects
in the region through field intelligence, tenders, and consultant networks.
Maintain an updated database of ongoing and future construction sites.
Provide insights on competitors' offerings, pricing, and project movements.
5. Reporting & Coordination
Maintain CRM records, follow-up schedules, and sales pipeline updates.
Report directly to the Head of Strategy with
weekly performance dashboards
and lead status.
Work closely with project, service, and accounts teams to ensure client satisfaction and smooth handover.

Desired Candidate Profile
Graduate in Engineering / Business / Marketing.
2+ years of proven sales experience
in MEP / ELV / Security / HVAC / Construction / Automation industry.
Strong network among
Architects, Builders, PMCs, and Consultants.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Self-driven with a "hunter" mindset, capable of working independently.
Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and digital collaboration platforms.
