About the Role
Host My Trips is a rapidly growing boutique travel company based in Mumbai. We are looking for an experienced and resourceful
Business Development Manager/Executive
to identify new opportunities, build strong industry partnerships, and drive sustainable business growth.
Candidates with prior experience in the Travel & Tourism or Hospitality industry will be given first preference -- this experience is mandatory.
The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to develop new business, onboard hospitality partners, and think strategically to capitalize on emerging market trends.
Key Responsibilities
Research and identify new business opportunities -- including new markets, growth areas, partnerships, and potential clients.
Approach and connect with hospitality partners, hotels, and institutions for collaboration.
Generate leads and handle cold calling to onboard new travel and hospitality partners.
Meet clients and partners (in person or virtually) to present offerings and close deals.
Build and maintain strong business relationships with clients and partners to ensure long-term collaboration.
Develop and implement effective business growth and sales strategies.
Negotiate pricing and contracts in line with company policy.
Coordinate with internal teams (operations, finance, marketing, and sales) to ensure smooth execution of business deals.
Create and maintain a structured sales pipeline and track progress against targets.
Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify trends and new opportunities.
Prepare regular reports, forecasts, and presentations for senior management.

Good IT skills (MS Office, Spreadsheets, CRM tools).

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
MBA preferred but not mandatory.
2-6 years of experience in Business Development, preferably in
Travel, Tourism, or Hospitality
.
