to join our growing event management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships, corporate events, weddings, exhibitions, and other event formats.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development & Client Acquisition
Identify and research potential clients through various channels including networking, cold calling, social media, and industry events.
Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of potential business opportunities.
Pitch event solutions to corporate clients, social clients, and government bodies.
Prepare and deliver impactful sales presentations and customized proposals.
Negotiate and close business deals, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.
2. Client Relationship Management
Build and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, vendors, and partners.
Act as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and timely updates.
Ensure repeat business by providing excellent post-event follow-up and service.
3. Revenue Growth & Market Expansion
Identify market trends and suggest new services or improvements to current offerings.
Explore opportunities in new segments such as destination events, virtual/hybrid events, etc.
Work towards achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
4. Collaboration & Coordination
Coordinate with internal teams (creative, production, logistics) to ensure smooth project execution.
Liaise with vendors, sponsors, and third-party partners to ensure event success.
5. Reporting & Analysis
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status.
Provide regular reports to senior management on sales forecasts and business development performance.

Qualifications & Experience:
Graduate/Postgraduate in Business Administration, Marketing, Event Management, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, preferably in event management, media, hospitality, or related industries.
Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and social media platforms.
Experience in corporate events, exhibitions, or weddings is preferred.
Additional Preferred Attributes:
Familiarity with digital marketing tools and trends in virtual/hybrid events.
Knowledge of local and national event markets.
Willingness to travel for client meetings and events.
