GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
The main objective of this position is to support Agri-commodity trading through online platform by connecting different stakeholders in Agri commodity value chain such as farmers/FPOs, traders, processors, millers, brands, etc.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
? Build sustainable corporate sales channel network for agri commodities requirements for assigned area(s)
? Execution of assigned monthly and AOP targets for the region/zone such as revenue, registration, etc
? Responsible for building/managing team and revenue generation through team as well as individually
? Building and maintaining healthy business relations with major corporate clients, ensuring customer satisfaction by providing pre/post sales assistance such as delivery & quality norms
? Maintain direct relationships with CXOs (decision makers) to originate & sustain business
? Understand and forecast market size & segment growth in the state(s) to develop effective strategies to achieve the desired sales, market share and profitability in each of the segment
? Liaising with other stakeholders such as quality, product, marketing, finance departments
? Give strategic direction to the sales team to optimize the overall productivity and performance, ingraining the company values in the team
? Market research for demand of Agri products in market across assigned geographies
? Track commodity markets to guide & advice buyers on purchase related requirements
? Assist in trade settlement and dispute resolution whenever required by the team/clients
SKILLS & ABILITIES
? Experience in agri commodities trading (unprocessed, processed, organic), revenue generation from enterprise sales, client relationship management, portfolio management, tech sales
? Experience from agri tech companies, banks, insurance, broking house, B2B e-commerce preferred
? Ability to hunt and farm buyers for agri commodities
? Excellent Team Building/ Handling experience, possess leadership skills
? Ability to handle client relationship independently
? Open to travel in assigned geographical areas as per the requirements
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
? Post Graduate/ MBA preferably from Agri/ Rural Development/Sales & Marketing Stream
? Minimum 5 years overall and min 2 years of agri commodities trading required
? Current or Past Functional Area - Agriculture/Agri-Banking/Procurement/Foods-FMCG/Processed foods
? Excellent Planning & organizing skills
? Should be result driven and customer focused
? Computer savvy with good working exposure to MS-Office applications
