We are now expanding our corporate events division and are looking for a driven professional to lead business development efforts in this segment.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and target-driven
Business Development Manager - Corporate Events
who can generate leads, build corporate partnerships, and drive event sales. The candidate must have prior experience in acquiring corporate clients and closing deals in the events or B2B services sector.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
Identify and connect with corporate clients, HR/Admin teams, marketing heads, institutions, malls, and enterprises
Build and manage a strong sales pipeline
Use calls, field visits, LinkedIn, references, and networking for B2B lead generation
Client Acquisition & Sales
Pitch corporate event services and solutions
Understand client requirements and propose customized offerings
Share quotations, negotiate contracts, and close deals
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
Relationship Management
Maintain strong relationships with corporate clients
Ensure repeat business and referrals
Represent the company at corporate meetings, expos, and networking events
Coordination & Reporting
Collaborate with production and operations teams for execution
Present weekly/monthly lead and revenue reports
Track conversions, client interactions, and proposals
Requirements

Experience:
2-5 years in Business Development in Corporate Events (Event industry preferred)

Skills & Competencies:
Strong corporate network and market understanding
Proven experience in lead generation and closing sales
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and meet targets
Knowledge of corporate events such as launches, MICE, annual days, expos, conferences, etc.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Event Management, or related fields (MBA preferred)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
