Job Description

Job Summary:



We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Business Development Manager to spearhead growth initiatives within the water and wastewater treatment and building management systems sectors. The ideal candidate will leverage their technical knowledge of WTP, STP, and BMS to identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities, fostering long-term relationships with municipal, industrial, and commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities:



Market Analysis & Opportunity Identification:

Conduct extensive market research to identify new opportunities, industry trends, and competitor activities within the WTP, STP, and BMS segments.

Lead Generation & Client Acquisition:

Generate qualified leads and pursue business opportunities with industrial clients, government bodies, consultants, builders, and contractors.

Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction and secure repeat business.

Technical Sales & Proposal Development:

Work with technical and engineering teams to understand client requirements and develop tailored, cost-effective techno-commercial proposals and presentations.

Negotiation & Deal Closure:

Lead negotiations, prepare contracts, and close deals to meet or exceed annual sales targets and revenue goals.

Tender & Bid Management:

Participate in tender processes, including preparing and submitting bid documents and ensuring all responses are accurate and compliant.

Industry Representation:

Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, conferences, and seminars to enhance the company's network and profile.

Reporting & Forecasting:

Monitor business performance using CRM tools, prepare sales forecasts, and provide regular reports and market insights to senior management.

Qualifications & Skills:



Education:

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Environmental, Chemical, Civil, or Mechanical preferred) or a related field is typically required, with an MBA or a management degree in Sales & Marketing being an added advantage.

Experience:

A minimum of 5-10 years of proven business development or technical sales experience in the water/wastewater treatment industry or building services sector.

Technical Knowledge:

Strong understanding of WTP (Water Treatment Plant) processes, STP (Sewage Treatment Plant) operations, and/or BMS (Building Management Systems) technologies and their regulatory requirements.

Core Competencies:

Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Strategic Thinking:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with an entrepreneurial mindset to spot new opportunities and adapt to market changes.

Travel:

Willingness to travel frequently to client sites and industry events as required.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?50,000.00 per month
