Key Responsibilities :
The Deputy Manager/Sales Manager - Environment and Sustainability Services is responsible for driving revenue growth through acquisition of new clients and expansion of existing accounts in the environmental compliance and sustainability consulting domain.
This role focuses on promoting and selling regulatory compliance services including EPR registration, environmental clearances, pollution control compliance, ESG, Green certifications, sustainability certifications, and related consulting services to corporations, manufacturers, and industrial clients across India.
The incumbent will lead business development initiatives, manage the sales pipeline, build strategic client relationships, and achieve revenue targets while ensuring high customer satisfaction and contributing to the organization's growth objectives in the sustainability services sector.
Key accountabilities :
Revenue Generation and Sales Performance
Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets for environment and sustainability service lines
Generate new business through prospecting, lead generation, networking, and client acquisition activities
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate target markets and industry segments
Identify and pursue high-value opportunities in EPR compliance, ESG, ESG-BRSR, Green Certifications, pollution control, environmental clearances, and sustainability consulting
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers including Directors, CEOs, Compliance Heads, Legal Heads, HSE Managers, and Procurement Managers
Conduct needs assessment and consultative selling to understand client requirements and pain points
Market Development and Territory Management
Develop comprehensive understanding of target industries including manufacturing, packaging, petrochemicals, Recycling, Bio-fuels, pharmaceuticals, hospitality, logistics, and others
Identify and prioritize target accounts and decision-makers within assigned territory
Sales Operations and CRM Management
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM system including leads, opportunities, activities, and forecasts
Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports to management
Product Knowledge and Technical Expertise
Develop deep expertise in environmental compliance regulations including EPR, CPCB/SPCB, SPCB, MoEFcc norms, pollution control laws
Collaborate with technical team to develop customized solutions for complex client requirements
Team Collaboration and Coordination
Work closely with operations, technical, legal, and client relation teams to ensure seamless service delivery
Mentor and support junior sales team members and business development executives
Compliance and Ethical Standards
Adhere to company policies, code of conduct, and ethical business practices
Ensure accurate representation of services, timelines, and capabilities to clients
oMaintain confidentiality of client information and proprietary company data
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?50,000.00 per month
