The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving loan sales through field activities by building strong relationships with bankers, DSAs, and customers. The role involves daily market visits, lead generation, conversion, and achieving assigned sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Generate loan business through field sales activities
Conduct
daily meetings with bankers, DSAs, and channel partners
Build and maintain strong relationships with banking partners
Source and convert leads for loan products
Meet customers in the field to explain loan products and eligibility
Collect and verify customer documentation for loan processing
Coordinate with credit and operations teams for smooth disbursement
Track daily sales activities and submit MIS reports
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
Monitor market trends and competitor activity
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong field sales and negotiation skills
Good communication and relationship-building abilities
Knowledge of loan products and sales processes
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in the field
Target-driven and result-oriented approach
Qualifications
Graduate in any discipline
1-2 years of experience in loan sales / banking / NBFC field sales
Experience working with bankers, DSAs, and customers preferred
Two-wheeler mandatory (with valid license)
