We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager specializing in Trademarks to join our client\'s team. The ideal candidate should be a smart and energetic sales professional with experience in selling trademarks, products, or services to book publishers, authors, R&D services, and content services. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and achieving revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential clients and understand industry trends.
Analyze competitors and market conditions to develop effective sales strategies.
Client Acquisition:
Identify and target potential clients in the publishing industry, including book publishers, authors, R&D services, and content services.
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of leads through cold calling, networking, and industry events.
Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers to understand their business needs.
Sales Strategy Development:
Devise and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling promotional materials and campaigns.
Product/Service Knowledge:
Gain a thorough understanding of trademark services and offerings.
Communicate the value proposition of our services to clients and tailor presentations to meet their specific needs.
Proposal and Contract Negotiation:
Prepare and deliver persuasive sales proposals, presentations, and demonstrations.
Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service agreements to close deals successfully.
Client Relationship Management:
Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with clients by providing excellent customer service.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their goals and aligning our services to meet their objectives.
Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:
Work closely with internal teams, including legal, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
Sales Reporting and Analysis:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and deal progress.
Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
