Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive

Project & Business Development Manager

to lead the expansion and maintenance of our retail stores. The role covers site acquisition, store design and fit-out execution, vendor management, and ongoing repair & maintenance, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and secure new retail sites aligned with expansion strategy. Conduct feasibility studies, demographics, and footfall analysis. Manage lease negotiations with landlords and real estate agents. Oversee new store design approvals, fit-out execution, and handover. Identify, onboard, and manage vendors for store projects and maintenance. Develop preventive and reactive maintenance schedules for operating stores. Manage project budgets, contracts, and vendor compliance. Provide regular reports on project status, costs, and vendor performance. Conduct market visits and track real estate/competitor trends.

Requirements

Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field; MBA is a plus. 3+ years in

retail store development, project management, and vendor handling

. Proven success in managing store openings, fit-outs, and leasing negotiations. Strong knowledge of retail design, maintenance, and commercial leasing. Excellent negotiation, budgeting, and communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office; AutoCAD & project management tools preferred. Strong market knowledge of South India (TN, KA, TS, AP). Willingness to travel extensively across India.

Pay: ₹900,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
