A Business Development Manager (BDM) is a key member of a company's go-to-market (GTM) team, responsible for identifying new business opportunities and growing the company's business. Their responsibilities include:
Hiring Both Executives and Manager.
Location: East Tambaram
Researching: Identifying new markets, customers, and trends, and researching prospective accounts
Generating leads: Building lists of sales leads and pursuing them through the sales cycle
Developing strategies: Developing marketing and sales strategies and setting goals for the business development team
Building relationships: Fostering relationships with customers, clients, partners, sponsors, and donors
Evaluating risks: Assessing potential risks associated with business development initiatives and implementing strategies to manage them
Planning: Planning equity investments and forming partnerships
Training: Training business development staff
Attending events: Attending conferences and industry events
Providing feedback: Providing continuous, constructive feedback to salespeople
Reviewing contracts: Reviewing sales contracts to ensure they meet legal and corporate guidelines
