Job Summary



The Business Development Manager (BDM) in a finance company is responsible for driving business growth by acquiring new clients, building strategic partnerships, and promoting the company's financial products and services, such as personal loans, business loans, vehicle loans, mortgage finance, and other lending solutions. The role requires strong networking skills, market knowledge, and the ability to achieve revenue and client acquisition targets.

Key Responsibilities



Identify and generate new business opportunities for the company's loan and finance products. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual business targets. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, channel partners, and business associates. Educate customers on various loan products, eligibility, documentation, and benefits. Negotiate and close business deals, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with credit, risk, and operations teams to ensure smooth processing of applications. Conduct market research to track competitors, customer needs, and emerging trends. Represent the company at financial fairs, networking events, and client meetings. Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis for management review. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and financial guidelines.

Strong knowledge of loan products, credit processes, and financial services. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proven track record in sales and business development within the finance sector. Ability to build long-term client and partner relationships. Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented. Good problem-solving and analytical skills. Proficiency in CRM software, MS Excel, and reporting tools.

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field. 3-5 years of experience in business development or sales in a finance company, NBFC, or bank. Understanding of financial products, credit policies, and market dynamics.
