Business Development Manager (bdm) Sales – Transportation

Job Description

? Identify and develop new business opportunities in transportation, logistics,

and freight services

? Generate leads through market research, cold calling, client visits, and

referrals

? Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients

? Understand customer requirements and propose suitable transportation

solutions

? Prepare quotations, rate negotiations, and commercial proposals

? Achieve monthly and annual sales targets as per company goals

? Coordinate with operations and customer service teams for smooth

execution of shipments

? Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies

? Handle contract finalization and service-level agreements (SLAs) with clients

? Ensure timely payment follow-ups and support the finance team for

collections

? Resolve customer complaints and ensure high customer satisfaction

? Maintain sales reports, MIS, and CRM updates

? Represent the company in client meetings, presentations, and business

reviews

Job Requirement

? Experience: Minimum 15+ years of experience

? Salary: As per industry standards

? Age: 35 to 45 years

? Location: Chennai

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
