Job Summary:



We are seeking a highly motivated and performance-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive SIP (Systematic Investment Plan) sales across retail and semi-retail investor segments. The role requires building strong relationships with clients and distribution partners to promote SIP-based investments and consistently increase SIP volumes and ticket sizes.

Key Responsibilities:



1. SIP Sales Acquisition

Source and onboard new clients to invest in mutual funds via Systematic Investment Plans (SIPs).

Drive monthly SIP inflows through direct sales and channel partners.

Promote SIP as a long-term investment tool to individuals, HNIs, and small businesses.

2. Market Development

Identify and tap into potential markets such as salaried professionals, SMEs, and first-time investors.

Conduct field activities like investor education programs (IAPs), SIP campaigns, and financial literacy drives.

Work closely with housing societies, offices, educational institutions, and affinity groups to generate SIP leads.

3. Channel & Distribution Partner Engagement

Build and manage relationships with Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs), RIAs, and other retail distributors.

Train and support partners to promote SIP products and improve monthly SIP registrations.

Ensure timely communication of product updates, NAVs, and SIP calculators/tools.

4. Client Servicing

Provide post-sale support to investors and ensure smooth onboarding and documentation.

Maintain regular contact with SIP investors to encourage renewals, top-ups, and long-term engagement.

5. Performance Tracking & Reporting

Monitor SIP performance metrics: registrations, ticket size, cancellations, and persistency ratios.

Report daily/weekly/monthly activity to the reporting manager.

Ensure proper documentation and compliance with AMFI/NISM standards.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):



Monthly SIP count and inflow (AUM).

New client acquisition (retail/SIP-focused).

Persistency rate (SIPs continuing beyond 12 months).

Growth in SIP ticket size.

Channel partner productivity.

Required Qualifications & Skills:



Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields. Minimum

2-4 years

of experience in mutual fund sales or financial advisory roles. Strong knowledge of SIPs, mutual funds, and investment products. AMFI certification (mandatory or must be obtained within probation period). Excellent communication, networking, and relationship management skills. Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently. Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office.

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
