Role Overview
We are looking for a
high-performing Business Development Manager
who thrives in a
hardcore sales, hunting, and closure-focused role
. This position demands a
self-driven closer
with strong exposure to the
Indian recruitment/staffing market
, capable of owning the complete sales cycle and consistently delivering
revenue and client acquisition targets
.
Key Responsibilities
Own
end-to-end business development
for Domestic Recruitment services
Aggressively
hunt, pitch, and close new clients
across India
Drive
monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
with clear accountability
Generate leads via cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, referrals, and networking
Convert prospects into active clients with signed contracts and rate cards
Negotiate commercials, margins, and service agreements independently
Build a strong
client pipeline
and ensure continuous deal flow
Work closely with recruitment teams to ensure delivery and fast TAT
Ensure
repeat business, account expansion, and upselling
Track sales performance, forecasts, and closures using CRM tools
Stay ahead of competitors through market intelligence and pricing strategy
Mandatory Requirements
3-5 years of
pure business development experience in Domestic Recruitment / Staffing
Proven track record of
client acquisition and revenue closures
Strong network of HR Heads, TA Managers, and business decision-makers
Hands-on experience with
cold sales, negotiations, and closures
Ability to work in a
high-pressure, target-driven environment
Excellent communication, persuasion, and objection-handling skills
Preferred Profile
Candidates currently working with
staffing / recruitment consulting firms
Experience selling
IT & Non-IT recruitment services
Existing client base is a strong advantage
Immediate or short notice joiners preferred
