Business Development Manager - PEB & Buildings (EPC)
1.
Market Research & Opportunity Identification
Analyse target markets (industrial, logistics, commercial, warehousing, infrastructure, Manufacturing plants, Data centres & tech parks, institutions ) for PEB and EPC opportunities.
Identify upcoming construction projects, tenders, and potential clients (public & private sector).
Track industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments in the EPC/PEB space.
2.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
Identify and approach new clients (developers, architects, consultants, Tech Parks, SEZ's ,Warehouse Chain, Logistics Park, Educational institutions, Cold Storage, Agro and government bodies).
Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
Maintain and grow existing accounts to generate repeat EPC/PEB project opportunities.

Lead Generation & Pipeline Management
Generate and qualify leads via networking, referrals, events, and online platforms.
Maintain a strong pipeline of prospects in CRM tools, and regularly update pursuit strategies.
Forecast sales and ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
4.
Bid & Tender Coordination
Coordinate with internal tendering, estimation, and proposal teams to prepare technical and commercial offers.
Provide market intelligence on pricing and positioning to support winning strategies.
Participate in bid clarification meetings, technical presentations, and commercial negotiations.
5.
Solution Selling & Technical Understanding
Understand client requirements and propose suitable design/build solutions (including structural systems, materials, timelines).
Demonstrate knowledge of steel structures, building envelopes, civil foundations, and integrated MEP solutions in EPC context.
Act as the link between the client and internal engineering/technical teams.
6.
Strategic Partnerships & Alliances
Identify and develop partnerships with Industrial consultants, architects, Government authorities, Logistics chain and developers
Explore joint ventures or strategic alliances for large or specialized EPC projects.
7.
Contract Negotiation & Closure
Lead or support commercial negotiations including pricing, payment terms, deliverables, and timelines.
Ensure smooth transition from business development to execution/PM teams post-award.
8.
Brand Positioning & Promotion
Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, trade shows, and client meetings.
Work with the marketing team to develop project case studies, brochures, and presentations.
Promote company strengths in design-build delivery, speed of execution, and cost-efficiency.
9.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Collaborate with:
Engineering & Design
for technical feasibility
Estimation & Procurement
for costing and sourcing
Execution Teams
for feedback on ongoing projects
Ensure client expectations are aligned with company capabilities.
10.
Reporting & Performance Metrics
Prepare regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, market intelligence, and competitor benchmarking.
Monitor KPIs such as lead-to-order conversion rate, bid success rate, and client satisfaction.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
