Key Responsibilities
Generate
high-quality leads and business through Upwork
Identify relevant projects and
submit strategic proposals
Handle
end-to-end client communication
(chat, calls, Zoom/Google Meet)
Understand client requirements and
translate them into clear scopes
Coordinate with internal teams (SEO, PPC, Developers, Designers)
Maintain and grow long-term client relationships
Achieve
monthly revenue and conversion targets
Track leads, follow-ups, and closures in CRM or tracking sheets
Stay updated with
Upwork algorithm changes and best practices
Required Skills & Experience
5-7 years of proven experience
in Upwork business development
Strong understanding of
Digital Marketing services
:
Excellent
English communication skills
(verbal & written)
Confidence to
handle international clients (US, UK, AU, EU)
Strong negotiation and closing skills
Self-driven, proactive, and target-oriented mindset
Ability to work independently without constant supervision
Experience generating business for
Digital Marketing / IT agencies
Knowledge of proposal automation & bidding strategies
Existing Upwork profile with
successful closures
Familiarity with CRM tools
