We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to expand our client base and increase revenue for our Civil Lab. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the civil engineering and construction industry, excellent networking skills, and a proven track record in generating business opportunities within the testing and laboratory services sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities for the Civil Lab.
Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, construction firms, consultants, government agencies, and other potential clients.
Understand client needs and propose appropriate lab testing and quality control solutions.
Prepare and present competitive proposals, quotations, and tenders.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure client requirements are clearly communicated and met.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.
Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking meetings to promote the lab's services.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed revenue targets.
Maintain accurate records of business development activities and report regularly to management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field.
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in business development or marketing within civil engineering, construction, or testing services.
Strong knowledge of civil lab testing services (soil, concrete, asphalt, materials testing) is highly desirable.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proven ability to develop new clients and close deals.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Willingness to travel regularly for client meetings and industry events.
