Drive revenue growth through sales strategies and process improvement

understanding of freight forwarding and logistics industry.
Knowledge of shipping and transportation methods, import/export processes, and industry trends.

Awareness of market trends, pricing dynamics, and competitive intelligence within the freight forwarding industry.
RESPONSIBILITY/ ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENTS
Customer Engagement and Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong customer relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for inquiries related to shipping and logistics services.
Foster trust and customer loyalty by engaging with key accounts throughout the entire shipment process, providing updates and addressing inquiries.
Actively convert customer inquiries and leads into confirmed orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to customer requirements.
Provide support for customers by addressing their concerns and facilitating smooth order execution.
Attending events such as exhibition and conferences
Order Execution and Financial Management:
Monitor the progress of each shipment, proactively addressing any operational issues that may arise.
Track invoices and payment status, ensuring timely and accurate payment collection.
Act as a point of contact to resolve any issues related to shipments, customer concerns, and operational challenges.
Collaborate effectively with internal departments and trade lanes to ensure seamless execution of shipments.
Performance Reporting and Strategy:
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within the business development function.
Stay informed about market trends, competitive intelligence, and customer needs in the freight forwarding industry.
Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve revenue and growth goals.
Participate in the development of business expansion strategies into new regions or markets.
