About the Role
We are looking for a strategic
Business Development Manager (BDM)
to lead our agency's growth by acquiring high-value clients, expanding market share, and driving revenue through digital marketing services (SEO, PPC, Social Media, Web Development, etc.). You'll mentor a team, forge partnerships, and shape our sales roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Growth & Strategy
Develop and execute quarterly/annual sales plans to meet revenue targets.
Identify new verticals (e.g., e-commerce, healthcare, SaaS) and untapped markets.
Analyze competitor strategies and market trends to position our services effectively.
2. Client Acquisition & Leadership
Pitch to enterprise clients, agencies, and brands through high-level meetings (C-level executives).
Close large deals and negotiate long-term contracts.
Build partnerships with complementary businesses (web developers, PR agencies).
3. Team Management
Lead and mentor a team of BDEs/AEs to achieve collective targets.
Conduct sales training on digital marketing solutions and objection handling.
4. Operations & Collaboration
Work with marketing to align campaigns with sales goals (case studies, webinars).
Optimize CRM for pipeline management and reporting.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have:
5+ years in
B2B sales/business development
in a
digital marketing agency
.
Proven track record of closing
deals
and managing enterprise clients.
Deep expertise in
SEO, PPC, Social Media Ads, or Marketing Automation
.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing sales teams.
Preferred:
Experience with
global clients
(US/UK/EU markets).
MBA in Marketing/Business (optional but advantageous).
