Job Description

Job Summary:


We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in the B2B travel industry. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in the travel industry and a strong background in sales, business development, and client relationship management. The role involves building new business opportunities with international travel agents and maintaining relationships with existing clients, as well as promoting and selling travel services.

Key Responsibilities:



Business Development:


Create and cultivate new business opportunities and affiliations with international travel agents.

Client Training & Support:


Provide support and training to existing clients, ensuring a high level of service.

Sales Lead Generation:


Develop new business by generating sales leads and converting them into active clients.

Sales & Relationship Management:


Responsible for selling travel-related services to travel agents, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and identifying opportunities for new clients.

Follow-ups:


Follow up on existing quotes and inquiries from travel agents to close sales.

Coordination with Operations Team:


Collaborate with the operations team for pre-sales requirements and ensure smooth coordination between teams.

Preferred Candidate Profile:



Experience:


3-6 years of work experience in the travel industry, particularly in B2B sales, travel sales, or client relationship management.

Skills:



Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi, and the local language (able to read and speak).
Strong knowledge of the travel industry, including outbound destinations and local travel trade.
Experience in selling outbound travel services to travel agencies.
Proficient in MS Office, emails, and internet usage.

Other Qualifications:



Good knowledge of destinations, travel agents, and hotels in relevant regions.
Experience in B2B sales, working with outbound travel agencies, DMCs, B2B online portals, or airlines.
