Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and technically sound
Business Development Manager
to drive growth through new client acquisitions, project development, and strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mechanical engineering, a good understanding of costing and estimation, and proven experience in expanding business within the engineering and fabrication industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business opportunities across industrial and project-based sectors.
Establish and nurture strong client relationships to ensure repeat and long-term business.
Prepare and present detailed
technical and commercial proposals
, quotations, and tenders.
Collaborate with internal teams (design, purchase, and production) to ensure accurate project costing and timely delivery.
Conduct
market and competitor analysis
to develop strategic sales plans.
Meet or exceed annual sales targets through proactive business development efforts.
Participate in
exhibitions, trade fairs, and client meetings
to represent SASA Enggtech's capabilities.
Maintain sales reports, CRM data, and pipeline tracking for management review.
Support post-order coordination and ensure smooth project handover.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
B.E. (Mechanical Engineering) - Mandatory*
Experience:
Minimum
5 years
in
Business Development / Sales
within an engineering, fabrication, or manufacturing setup.
Technical Expertise:
Sound knowledge of
costing, estimation, and pricing
for fabrication and engineered products.
Ability to read and interpret
technical drawings and specifications
.
Proficiency in
MS Office, CRM tools
, and presentation software.
Key Competencies:
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
Proven record in achieving sales targets and managing key accounts.
High level of initiative, self-motivation, and technical acumen.
Team player with a customer-centric approach.
