Role Overview
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, pitching, and converting schools and colleges into active partners for our entrepreneurship courses. This is a
high-impact, on-ground role
that requires excellent networking, presentation, and closing skills.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Outreach:
Visit schools, junior colleges, and universities to pitch Kuberans Startup School programs to principals, management, and faculty.
Sales Conversion:
Drive student/course enrollments by converting institutional partnerships into actual registrations.
Relationship Management:
Build strong, long-term relationships with education leaders and decision-makers.
Presentations & Pitches:
Conduct engaging presentations, demos, and orientation sessions for students, teachers, and management.
Target Achievement:
Achieve monthly/quarterly sales and partnership targets through structured pipelines.
Market Intelligence:
Collect insights on student/college needs, competitor offerings, and feedback to improve sales strategy.
Brand Representation:
Represent Kuberans Startup School at education fairs, seminars, startup fests, and outreach events.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the marketing and operations team to design outreach campaigns and ensure smooth program delivery.
Requirements
3-6 years of experience in
business development, institutional sales, or educational partnerships
.
Strong presentation and negotiation skills with the ability to influence principals, HODs, and management.
A proven track record of achieving sales targets in education/edtech/startup ecosystem is preferred.
Excellent communication skills (English, Hindi, and regional languages).
Self-starter with high ownership, energy, and the ability to work on-ground independently.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA is a plus).
