Business Development Manager - IT Solutions

Reporting To: [Managing Director / Head of Sales / Operations Manager]

Role

Summary



The Business Development Manager - IT Solutions is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, acquiring new customers, and driving revenue growth within the assigned city/region. The role focuses on selling IT solutions including Microsoft 365 licenses, IT infrastructure, network and server installations, IT outsourcing services, new office IT setups, and computer hardware including Apple products.

Key Responsibilities Business Development & Sales



Identify, prospect, and onboard

new customers

within the assigned territory. Generate leads through

field visits, cold calling, referrals, and networking

. Understand customer requirements and propose suitable

IT solutions and services

. Promote and sell: Microsoft 365 licenses and cloud services IT infrastructure and network solutions Server installation and management New office IT setup projects IT outsourcing and AMC contracts Computer hardware, peripherals, and Apple products Prepare and present

commercial proposals, quotations, and solution presentations

. Negotiate pricing and close deals in line with company policies.

Client Relationship Management



Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers. Act as the primary point of contact for customers during the sales cycle. Coordinate with technical and operations teams for solution design and delivery. Ensure smooth handover of projects after deal closure.

Market & Territory Development



Conduct market research to identify

new industries, offices, and business hubs

. Track competitor offerings, pricing, and market trends. Maintain an up-to-date customer and lead pipeline.

Reporting & Targets



Achieve monthly and quarterly

sales and revenue targets

. Maintain accurate records in CRM or sales tracking systems. Provide regular sales forecasts and activity reports to management.

Required Skills & Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or a related field (preferred). 3-6 years of experience in

IT sales or business development

. Strong understanding of

IT infrastructure, cloud services, and hardware solutions

. Experience selling

B2B IT solutions

and services. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and meet targets. Valid driving license and willingness to travel locally.

Preferred Skills



Experience with

Microsoft 365, networking, servers, firewalls

, or Apple ecosystem. Knowledge of

IT outsourcing and managed services

. Existing corporate customer network within the city/region.
