ROLE SUMMARY
The Brand Development Manager for Salpido will act as the
single point of ownership
for growing the Salpido brand across GT, MT, MYG, and Wholesale channels.
This role requires strong brand coordination, sales-driving ability, product knowledge, and planning skills to scale Salpido's accessories and audio portfolio across Kerala.
The BDM is responsible for:
? Daily brand coordination
? Pricing + product strategy
? Driving secondary sales
? Market activation
? Online price monitoring
? Channel expansion
? Inventory & ageing control
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Brand Management & Vendor Coordination
Serve as the primary contact for Salpido's brand team.
Coordinate pricing, schemes, offers, discounts, and product information.
Communicate PO status, stock requirements, and market demand.
Manage brand claims (shortages, damages, incentives, DOA).
Plan and execute product launches and new SKU introductions.
2. Sales Growth & Channel Expansion
Drive secondary sales across GT, MT, MYG, and wholesale.
Analyze sales patterns and identify high-potential outlets.
Plan monthly model-wise and channel-wise sales targets.
Assist sales team with push items, focus SKUs, and bundled offers.
Expand distribution footprint for Salpido across new markets.
3. Pricing & Margin Management
Maintain updated Salpido pricing across all channels.
Ensure online-offline price parity and monitor competitor pricing.
Protect margin structure and prevent negative deals.
Provide special pricing approvals within defined guardrails.
4. Inventory Management & Stock Health
Monitor stock levels, ageing, and sales velocity of Salpido SKUs.
Identify fast-moving and slow-moving SKUs and plan corrective actions.
Raise PO recommendations based on forecast and sellout trends.
Support liquidation planning when inventory exceeds threshold.
5. Market Activation & Visibility
Identify and deploy product displays, sample units, signage, and branding.
Conduct shop visits to ensure proper placement & product visibility.
Gather market intelligence on competing brands (Mivi, Boat, Firebolt, Noise).
6. Reporting & Analysis
Maintain daily/weekly reporting:
Stock sheet
Ageing
Secondary sales
Market activity
Price parity
Competition mapping
Prepare monthly brand performance deck for management.

Strong communication & vendor handling skills
Mobile accessories & audio product knowledge
Numerical ability & forecasting confidence
Experience in GT/MT distribution
Excellent Excel & reporting skills
Strong negotiation and problem-solving ability
Ability to work with cross-functional teams (Sales, Purchase, Warehouse)

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree (preferred: BBA, BCom, MBA not mandatory)
Minimum
3-6 years
in:
Accessories industry
Consumer electronics
Retail/Distribution environment
Experience working with brands like Boat, Portronics, Mobilla, Noise, Firebolt etc. is a plus.
