We are looking for a proactive and strategic Business Development Manager to drive international growth for our print publishing company. Based in Kochi, this role focuses on developing business in the UK and USA markets, primarily through media sales, corporate partnerships, and brand outreach. The ideal candidate should have experience in global client acquisition, excellent communication skills, and a passion for media and publishing.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across UK and USA markets, focusing on advertising sales, sponsorships, and corporate subscriptions.
Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, agencies, and media buyers internationally.
Develop compelling proposals and sales pitches tailored to international clients' marketing objectives.
Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
Monitor international publishing trends and adapt strategies to align with market needs.
Collaborate with editorial, marketing, and design teams to deliver customized advertising and content solutions.
Represent the company in virtual meetings, calls, and international client presentations.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Media, or related field.
3-7 years of proven experience in business development or international media sales.
Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
Understanding of publishing/media industry dynamics in UK and USA markets.
Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
Self-driven, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts.
Familiarity with CRM tools, digital communication platforms, and global sales practices.
