Job Description

Job Purpose:

This role plays a crucial part in driving sales growth and managing the buyers and

sellers for steel and steel connected products. You will be responsible for proactively

generating new business opportunities, managing existing customer relationships,

ensuring efficient order processing and maximizing the customer satisfaction. You will

achieve this by developing and implementing strategic sales plans, building strong

relationships with key decision makers, managing customer data effectively and

collaborating with internal teams.

Key Accountabilities:

1) Sales Growth and Order Management:

Proactively generate business enquiries through market research, networking and to expand the customer base. Develop and implement strategies to achieve assigned sales targets. Manage existing customer accounts by facilitating repeat orders and up-selling opportunities. Ensure efficient order processing and support customers with pre-order inquiries.
2) Customer Acquisition & Relationship Management:

Develop & execute a strategic plan to identify and target builders, contractors, engineers, fabricators, wholesalers, etc. Build strong relationships with key decision-makers by conducting regular customer visits and fostering ongoing communication. Convert qualified leads and onboard new customers and drive continuous transactions to meet the revenue targets.
3) Customer Satisfaction:

Proactively manage customer expectations by maintaining clear communication on delivery timelines and product quality. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner. Ensure customer satisfaction by monitoring key metrics and identifying areas for improvement.
Collaboration & Compliance:

Collaborate effectively with internal teams (operations, finance, logistics) to ensure smooth order fulfilment and customer service. Ensure adherence to all local regulations, company standards, processes and policies throughout the sales process.
Qualification & Skills:

1) Bachelor's degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, Engineering or related field and MBA would be an added advantage.

2) Minimum of 8 years of experience in B2B (project / direct) sales, relationship management, or customer-facing roles, preferably in the Steel, E-Commerce or Construction Material segment.

3) Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building long-term relationships with clients / customers.

4) Strong digital literacy with proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for sales enablement.

5) Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills.

6) Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional customer value and driving business growth.

7) Knowledge of local market dynamics, regulations, and industry trends.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
