Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven

Business Development Manager (BDM)

for our FMCG division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market presence, managing key accounts, and developing strong distributor and retailer relationships to achieve revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve FMCG sales targets Identify new business opportunities, distributors, retailers, and modern trade partners Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and key clients Manage channel sales including General Trade, Modern Trade, and Institutional Sales Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences Lead negotiations on pricing, promotions, and commercial agreements Monitor sales performance, stock movement, and market coverage Coordinate with marketing, supply chain, and operations teams for smooth execution Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, and performance reviews Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve targets Ensure compliance with company policies and FMCG industry standards
Required Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of FMCG sales, distribution, and market dynamics Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to analyze sales data and market trends Proven leadership and team management abilities Result-oriented with strong problem-solving skills Proficient in MS Excel, CRM, and reporting tools
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field MBA (Sales/Marketing) preferred
Experience

3+ years of experience in FMCG sales or business development Minimum 2-3 years in a managerial or leadership role

Revenue growth and target achievement Distributor and retailer network expansion Market penetration and brand visibility Team performance and productivity

Pay: ₹14,408.87 - ₹49,622.05 per month
