We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive for our Import-Export business. The candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with suppliers and buyers, and ensuring smooth coordination of international trade operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new international markets for import and export opportunities.
Generate leads through cold calling, email campaigns, international trade portals, exhibitions, and networking.
Build and maintain strong relationships with overseas clients, vendors, and freight forwarders.
Understand customer requirements, prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close deals.
Coordinate with internal teams for documentation, shipment planning, LC/Invoice preparation, and logistics follow-ups.
Track shipments and ensure timely delivery, customer satisfaction, and issue resolution.
Maintain sales database, track pipeline status, and prepare business sales reports.
Stay updated on market trends, competitors, and regulatory requirements related to international trade.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (Preferred: International Business / Marketing / Commerce).
1-3 years of experience in Business Development / Import-Export industry (freshers with strong communication skills may also apply).
Good understanding of export documentation (Invoice, Packing List, BL, LC, etc.)
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong follow-up skills and ability to work independently.
