: Business Development Manager (Modular Furniture & Interior Design)

About the Role



We're looking for a high-energy, well-connected Business Development Manager who knows the modular furniture and interior design ecosystem inside out. Someone who's already been in the game for 2-5 years, understands how the industry moves, and can build solid relationships that actually convert into revenue.

Key Responsibilities



Client Acquisition & Lead Generation:
Actively identify and onboard new clients -- homeowners, architects, designers, contractors, and corporate accounts.

Designer & Architect Networking:
Build long-term relationships with designers and design studios to generate consistent project flow.

Revenue Growth:
Hit monthly/quarterly revenue and lead targets. Push strategic partnerships that boost sales volume.

Market Research:
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, pricing, and market shifts.

Pitching & Presentations:
Conduct product presentations, site visits, and design consultations with prospects.

Collaboration With Internal Teams:
Coordinate with design, production, and installation teams to ensure smooth execution for every project closed.

CRM & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of leads, conversions, pipelines, and follow-ups. Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports.

Required Experience
2-5 years experience in modular furniture, interior design, home decor, or related industries.

Existing network of designers, architects, contractors, or real estate connections is a big plus.

Proven track record of closing deals and hitting revenue targets.

Strong understanding of modular furniture products, materials, processes, and customer needs.

Skills You Must Have



Excellent communication & negotiation skills Relationship-building skills with high follow-through Ability to understand client needs and recommend solutions Strong project coordination ability Self-driven, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Basic understanding of CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho, etc.)
