Key Responsibilities:
Identify & Develop New Business Opportunities:
Research and target potential clients (schools, universities, government bodies, corporates, etc.) to promote the organization's educational services or products.
Partnership Development:
Build and manage long-term relationships with educational institutions, distributors, and other partners.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
Develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue targets and market expansion goals.
Market Research:
Monitor industry trends, competitors, and customer needs to identify new opportunities.
Proposal & Presentation:
Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals, pitches, and presentations to clients and stakeholders.
Contract Negotiation:
Lead contract discussions, close deals, and ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Cross-functional Coordination:
Work closely with marketing, product, and delivery teams to align business development efforts with organizational objectives.
Reporting & Forecasting:
Maintain CRM records, prepare sales forecasts, and report on KPIs and pipeline development.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
2-7 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the education sector or edtech.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong network within the education ecosystem is an advantage.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in B2B and B2C sales within the education sector
