The Business Development Manager is responsible for leading the inside sales team, driving revenue through inbound and outbound leads, improving conversion rates, and ensuring excellent customer experience. The role focuses on telephonic and digital sales operations, team management, and achieving monthly and annual business targets.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and lead the inside sales / tele-sales team to achieve revenue targets.
Drive sales through inbound/Outbound leads, enquiry calls, follow-ups, and CRM management.
Develop and execute inside sales strategies to improve lead conversion and productivity.
Monitor daily call activities, lead allocation, and follow-up effectiveness.
Conduct regular training, coaching, and performance reviews of the sales team.
Ensure accurate data entry, lead tracking, and reporting in CRM systems.
Collaborate with marketing for lead quality improvement and campaign effectiveness.
Handle escalated student/customer queries and resolve concerns promptly.
Analyze sales performance metrics and prepare MIS reports for management.
Ensure compliance with company policies, sales processes, and ethical selling standards.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in managing an inside sales or tele-sales team.
Experience in EdTech / Education sector is an advantage.
