Role Summary:
We are seeking a proactive Business Development Managerto drive growth of our piping & fittings business in the Delhi region. You will focus on identifying new customers, building and nurturing relationships with contractors, dealers, wholesalers, and industrial end-users, and achieving sales targets.
You will work closely with operations, warehousing and service teams to ensure client satisfaction, timely delivery and effective service.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospect new business leads - contractors, wholesalers, dealers, industrial clients (MS/GI pipes, boiler tubes, fittings).
Conduct market research and map target segments in the Delhi / NCR region.
Present and promote our product portfolio (MS pipes, GI pipes, boiler tubes, fittings) and the value proposition of our company.
Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business and upsell opportunities.
Prepare sales quotations, follow-up, negotiate terms and close deals.
Coordinate with warehouse and logistics to ensure timely delivery and service to customers.
Monitor market and competitor activity, report insights to management.
Achieve monthly / quarterly sales targets, maintain accurate records in CRM or spreadsheets.
Attend industry/trade-shows or networking events as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
1-3 years' experience in business development / sales - preferably in pipes & fittings / building materials / industrial supplies.
Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, result-oriented with ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment.
Good knowledge of Delhi / NCR market (especially construction, plumbing, industrial supply chain) would be an advantage.
Ability to manage multiple leads and priorities.
MS Office skills; familiarity with CRM or sales tracking tools is preferred.
Willingness to travel locally within Delhi/NCR.
