The Business Development Manager (BDM) - Surgery is a critical, results-oriented role responsible for driving the growth of the surgical referral and conversion business. The BDM will forge strategic partnerships with hospitals, surgical centers, key physicians, and external channels to increase the volume and value of surgical cases managed through the company's platform. This role requires a strong understanding of the surgical patient pathway, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven track record in healthcare business development.

Strategic Partnership & Channel Development
Hospital & Surgeon Acquisition: Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and onboard new partner hospitals, specialty surgical centers, and individual high-volume surgeons across key specializations (e.g., Ophthalmology, General Surgery, Orthopedics).
Physician Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with referring doctors, specialists, and hospital administrators to ensure sustained referral volume and smooth coordination.
New Channel Development: Scout and develop non-traditional patient referral channels and B2B partnerships (e.g., insurance brokers, corporate health programs, local clinics) to broaden the surgery pipeline.II. Sales Performance & Revenue Generation
Target Achievement: Own and exceed aggressive monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for surgical case volume, conversion rates, and revenue generation within the assigned region.
Pipeline Management: Manage the entire surgical patient referral pipeline, ensuring efficiency from lead generation (e-Clinic referrals, partner channels) to final booking and completion of the surgery.
Service Promotion: Effectively promote the company's value proposition to partners, highlighting seamless patient coordination, quality assurance, and superior post-operative support.
Pricing & Contracts: Oversee contract execution and ensure adherence to agreed-upon pricing, referral fee structures, and service level agreements (SLAs) with all surgical partners.III.
Market Intelligence & ComplianceMarket Analysis: Conduct regular market analysis to identify new surgical segments, competitor strategies, and emerging referral trends in the region.
Feedback Integration: Serve as the feedback loop between external partners and internal operations/clinical teams to continuously improve the patient referral and surgical experience.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all business development activities and contractual agreements comply with local healthcare regulations and ethical standards.Reporting: Provide accurate and timely reports on sales performance, pipeline status, partner health, and market insights to the leadership team.
